T14MEM allows you to load terminate and stay resident programs (such as Borlands Sidekick) into the upper 128K of memory, freeing up space in the valuable 640K normally addressed by DOS. In addition T14MEM provides several utility functions specific to the 1400LT which are missing from the standard DOS mode command provided with the 1400LT, Such as turning off the backlight and placing the computer into immediate standby mode. Included is also a memory map feature that gives you memory usage information for ALL 768K in your 1400LT/FD/HD. Note: Not all TSR programs can be loaded into the upper memory on a Tandy 1400 computer. Be sure to make proper backups before using this program. To run, enter: T14MEM Documentation: T14MEM.DOC.
